REMINDER - COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (CLA)

NDC Community Café Quarterly Series - Tuesday, August 30, 2005, 6:30 - 8:30
PM. This is the second quarterly event open to those who have been active
participants of the Neighborhood Development Center. Community Café is an
informal social networking event for our neighborhood leaders. Our hope is
to find creative solutions to neighborhood issues by bringing together
individuals of various experiences. This quarter's topic is: Membership

San José Beautiful and Grant Writing 101 Workshop - Wednesday, August 31,
2005, 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Our very own Margaret Wagenet will be on hand to
provide information on the upcoming San José Beautiful grants that are due
on September 31, 2005. In addition, we have neighborhood leader, Clark
Williams, who will provide us with tips on writing award-winning grants.
